Andrew
Blake's stylish films are a point of contention amongst porn fans.
Some claim that the beautiful women he expertly photographs are worth
the price of admission; others gripe that there is too much posing
and too little action. The reality is somewhere in between. Blake's
films more than succeed as softcore, but while voyeurs do enjoy being
teased, we also expect some kind of pay-off. With Andrew Blake, you're
taking the risk of being left with a pair of blue balls.

Adriana
comes very close to transcending the style-over-substance tag. It's
star, Adriana Sage, is an incredibly hot Latina who is fascinating
to watch no matter what she's doing. The opening montage of her bending
over wearing only a short, see-through skirt was enough to earn it
at least three stars from me. As the DVD progresses, we see Adriana
in a variety of situations, some solo and some with other (equally
impressive) women. While fetish themes abound, the most exciting action
we're treated to is some decent rope bondage. While there is lots
of breast-slapping, Blake inexplicably wastes Adriana's only decent
spanking scene by tacking it onto the end credits. If you're into
fancy footwear and chicks being bound underwater, you may enjoy this
one more than I did. If you're looking for hardcore lesbian sex or
S&M, you might as well forget about this one.
The DVD is well done, with a second side full of hot dildo action
outtakes and a series of short leg-fetish scenes featuring Dahlia
Grey.
WARNING: There is no sound other than the musical
score, which is lame, watered-down "electronica" that
will put you to sleep. I recommend muting the audio on the DVD and
playing your own soundtrack. Curve's latest album Gift worked
really well for me, but if you want to listen to something stupid
that's up to you.
