Daniel Roebuck is Rex, the ultimate high school nerd (although he looks more like the teacher!). He takes a field trip with some mean spirited students who try blowing him up in a port-o-potty. With nary an explanation, he ends up traveling back in time to the age of the missing link. Lucky for him, the blonde bombshell was always in fashion and he runs into the beautiful Eba (Cindy Ann Thompson). She can't speak a language known to modern man, but she can wear a loin cloth as well as any Victoria's Secret model. Daniel fondles her breasts, teaches her to say "sit on my face" and pops some prehistoric cherry. All in all, good clean fun.

Heather Graham is not in this movie.

Roebuck is definitely one of our more underrated actors. Don't believe me? Watch this back-to-back with River's Edge and you'll see the true meaning of acting. Whether he's in art house crap or Z movie hell, he's a likeable force on the screen. But the real find here is Cindy Ann Thompson. Her innocent, fresh looks make her the ultimate cave girl next door. Eagle-eyed scream queen lovers may also notice the scrumptious Michele Bauer giving her all in a topless romp through the locker room. I'm telling you, this movie has everything!

Essentially a teen sex comedy with a Neanderthal twist, Cavegirl is full of cute jokes, good pacing and decent performances. Rhino's widescreen release looks fine and they even threw in a fun trailer, just in case you didn't get your fill of hairy cave men and loin cloths the first time around.
