Fuckin hot lesbian vampires. Need I say more?
Of course I need say more, because there are plenty of hot lesbian vampire movies and they all suck. Ahhh, but this one is the gold standard of hot lesbian vampire movies. In fact, this might just be one of my all time favorite vampire movies… and I happen to be a bit of a vampire movie connoisseur.

Anyway, it’s definitely the best erotic vampire movie (beating the unliving shit out of Tony Scott’s The Hunger), but I’d say it’s up there with Near Dark and the 1979 Dracula (with Frank Langella) as best overall vampire flicks. (Betty argues that Plan 9 From Outer Space is better—but you can’t trust a woman for opinions on these things).

The new edition has a ton of new features including a documentary, interviews with the stars, director’s commentary, and a DVD-ROM book on the making of it! Blue Underground did a fantastic job reissuing this modern classic.
